Video Production for Manufacturers and Industrial Companies
Fill the second shift, show buyers the floor before the plant tour, and give your sales team something better than a spec sheet. For manufacturers across Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Bokeh Film Production makes video for manufacturers, machine shops, fabricators, print and packaging companies and industrial service businesses in Milwaukee and across Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. This is a region that still makes things, and most of the companies that do have the same two problems: nobody under forty knows they exist, and the people who do know cannot picture what it is like to work there.
Both problems get solved the same way. Put the floor on camera. Show the machines running, the people who run them, and the parts going out the door. A candidate decides whether to apply in about the time it takes to watch a 30 second video, and a buyer who has seen your floor shows up to the tour already half convinced.
The three jobs video does for a manufacturer
1. Hiring for the floor
Machinists, welders, operators, maintenance techs and the supervisors who keep a shift moving are the hardest hires in the state. A recruiting video shows them the plant, the equipment, the people and the owner before they apply. Run the 30 second cut as a Meta ad within 25 miles of the plant, link it from every job posting, and send it to the tech schools. Applicants show up already knowing what the job is.
2. Proving capability before the plant tour
Buyers and engineers want to see your equipment, your tolerances and your quality process before they commit to a visit. A capability film does the plant tour for you, on your website and in the first email your sales team sends. It answers the questions a purchasing manager asks in the first five minutes, and it works at trade shows on a loop.
3. Staying visible to the people who matter
Your customers and your future employees are on LinkedIn and Facebook, and so are your competitors. A quarterly batch of short videos from the floor, posted for you, keeps the company in front of them. Machine installs, a part coming off the line, a 20 year employee talking about why they stayed. That is what a monthly partnership looks like for a manufacturer.
What we film in a plant
- The floor running: machines, operators, material handling, inspection
- Employees in their own words about the work, the schedule and the people
- The owner or plant manager on what the company makes and who it makes it for
- Shipping, receiving and the parts going out the door
- Drone footage of the facility, the yard and the site (FAA Part 107 certified)
- Equipment installs, expansions and milestones worth announcing
- Short answers to the questions candidates ask in every interview
- Safety culture, training and the details that show a well run shop
We follow your PPE and safety rules, sign an NDA before we walk in if you need one, and keep proprietary processes, customer names and anything else you flag out of frame. We plan the shoot around production so nothing stops for us.

What it costs
Single projects: recruiting videos from $3,000 and most land between $3,000 and $5,500. Capability and brand films from $3,500. A social content shoot day on the floor is $1,500 and produces 8 to 12 short videos. Drone footage of the facility added to any shoot for $450. Monthly partnerships from $1,800 per month, month to month, no long-term contract.

Questions manufacturers ask us
How much does a recruiting video cost for a manufacturer?
Recruiting videos start at $3,000 and most land between $3,000 and $5,500 depending on how many locations and shifts we film. That includes the main video, a 30 second cut for ads and job postings, and vertical versions for social. Bundle it with a capability film and save 25 to 35 percent.
Will filming slow down production?
No. We plan the shoot around your schedule, film during normal operations and never ask a line to stop. Interviews happen in a quiet room or an office, usually 15 to 20 minutes per person. Most plant shoots are done in one day.
Can you keep proprietary processes and customers out of the video?
Yes. Walk us through the floor before we film and flag anything that should not appear. We sign NDAs, avoid customer part numbers and logos, and send you the edit for approval before anything is published.
What do we need to prepare?
A clean floor is nice but not required; real is better than staged. We need two or three employees willing to talk on camera for a few minutes, someone who can speak for the company, and a contact who can walk us through safety requirements. We bring our own PPE.
Where do manufacturers actually use these videos?
The recruiting video goes on your careers page, every Indeed and LinkedIn posting, and a Meta ad targeted within driving distance of the plant. The capability film goes on your homepage, in sales emails and on a loop at trade shows. The short clips go on LinkedIn and Facebook monthly.
Do you work outside Milwaukee?
Yes. We film in Waukesha, West Bend, Germantown, Racine, Kenosha, Sheboygan and throughout Lake County and McHenry County, Illinois. Travel in those areas is included. See all the areas we serve and our Northern Illinois page.
